Where has the time gone? I know, I do this every year. I can’t help it though. Christmas creeps up on me and bites me in the hiney. Don’t get me wrong, I love this time of year…when I’m prepared for it! Normally, my tree is up and I’m happily wrapping presents. Well, no tree, no wrapping, but some shopping has been done. That’s it. Over on Jennifer Leeland’s Blog she has been making cookies and decorating. Me? Not so much. I guess part of my problem is that I really don’t have anyone to decorate for anymore. CJ (my 19 yo college son) could care less as long as there is something to open on Christmas morning and my husband isn’t around enough to notice. So, as long as I have Jen’s pretty blog to look at, who cares! 😀 Keep decoratin’ for me, Jen 🙂

I know what you mean. I am still looking for that two extra weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas. If you want to decorate for me I would be glad to come over, oooh and ahh, and join you in a glass of eggnog!!!!!!
I’m all over it honey. I wish you did have someone to decorate for.
I have a feeling I’m going to do it when I’m a hundred. My kids will be terrorized by my decorating even when they run away–er leave home.
Love you hon.
Hey you’re not alone!
I’m not even close! But trying to hurry myself along! (Getting farther behind in the process! LOL)
Some decorate for me?? 😀 I have young kids! (that will probably tie me to a post somewhere….)
Eeek. I’m all decorated, but I’m not done shopping nor have I even thought about what cookies I’ll be making.
I’m almost done with the Christmas cards, though. 🙂
Thank God for my husband. He’s totally taken over all that. We switched roles–he is the stay-at-home parent and I work full time now. Last year, we were transitioning and I tried to hold on so hard to “that is my job”. This year, I’m learning to let him do it. And its so hard–but I’m not pulling out my hair either.
Awww. I know the feeling. I have young kids at home and still can’t be arsed. Smallest wants the tree up this afternoon. I so can’t be bothered.
😦
Leese, you bring the egg nog and I’ll decorate for hours 😉
Jen, *MWAH* enjoy these days. They go fast!
Maria, with that oldest boy of yours, I don’t doubt that hubby will come home one day and find you tied up in the closet!! 🙂
Jennifer, if you had said you were done shopping too, I’d have had to find out where you lived and come hurt you! KIDDING…sorta…
Gwen, that is a good idea, have hubby do it! 🙂
Emmy, I’m glad you feel my pain 😉 Not that I want you in pain, mind you…well, never mind…
